Job Description

 

Our client is a well established company that has an excellent reputation and is very customer focused. They are now looking to recruit a credit control / sales ledger clerk to join their busy finance team. Reporting into a team leader you will be responsible for processing the sales invoices, resolving complex queries and reconciliations and being involved in month end opportunities . As it is a high volume business, discrepancies need to be identified accurately and resolved quickly with the customers to ensure there is an accurate projection of cash-flow at all times.

 

Key Duties Include:

  • Credit references
  • Complex invoice queries
  • Assisting auditors with cash queries
  • Preparing financial reports for senior management
  • Producing monthly aged debtor report and analysis as necessary
  • Customer liaison (via telephone and face to face meetings)
  • Negotiating special repayment terms/schedules for clients in arrears
  • Reviewing aged debtor reports

 

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate an energetic and proactive approach to their work and be able to work accurately and on their own initiative. They will be able to communicate at all levels within the business and be focussed in delivering results. In return they will be gain a good broad experience within a highly commercial organisation. No experience necessary - Full Training given.
